I've been working a lot with my Trig kids lately with linear regression, and I've run into a bit of a conundrum. Do I teach them how to use the TI-84 I've issued them from the school, with it's eldritch mix of archaic functions and labels, or do I eschew that standby for desmos, which is touch screen and phone friendly, easy to use, and pretty?
For now I've decided to power on with the TI -84 at first, because the Calculus teacher loves the thing, and will just introduce Desmos in a few weeks and take the oncoming blow of "Why the heck didn't you teach us this in the first place?!"
